I Love this Clinic! Dr. Jenny McKay is incredible, so attentive, and really cares about her patients. I always get the quality time I need. Ive searched forever for a doctor that really listens and genuinely cares, and I got so sick of playing doctor roulette. Im so glad I found this doctor. In fact, I drive just under an hour each direction for my appointments.... And its 100% worth it!

I love the atmosphere and ease I feel when I come to visit. Life is stressful enough and being comfortable when you visit your provider is utmost. Everyone at the office is knowledgeable and wonderful to work with! I came to my appointment with so many questions and I left having a much better understanding for what was going on with my health.

Jenny McKay spent half the appointment asking generic questions (that were all in the forms I had just filled out,) and wrote off my concerning ADHD-related symptoms as just anxiety, despite the fact I had just finished telling her that my anxiety has never been better. She didnt press the issue even though that was one of the main concerns and the reason for the visit. When my CHILDHOOD symptoms didnt test high enough for a psychiatric referral or any further testing, she threw a Strattera prescription at me and waved me out the door. Not a care in the world about how my adult symptoms were affecting me now, no pathway towards seeking a more concrete diagnosis.I normally dont like to complain about health care professionals, as their jobs are incredibly difficult and I have such respect for them, but I felt like the second I mentioned anxiety and adhd in the same sentence, I was written off and treated exclusively by the computer.

I am the proud mother of Jenny McKay so I hope it’s acceptable for me to post a review. Besides the excellent care she gives me, I hear positive comments about her in several nearby cities. Yes, people will travel distances to patronize that clinic! In fact, three different times I have been told, “I’ve waited my whole life to find her!” I’ve heard how understanding and knowledgeable she is and how her patients never feel rushed. If only every medical practitioner were that caring!

Jenny is beyond amazing! She is personable, doesn’t judge regardless of how silly you might think the reason you’re being seen is. She is on top of getting your meds filled and taking great care of her patients. She actually cares and you can tell.

GREAT Drs whom listen to what you need to help with you in the best way for you.Ive had to work with more than I would like to the last couple of years and I really like this place 10x more than any other that Ive been to.Dr. Potter is an absolute stud! Enjoying being able to work with him.

McKay family practice is amazing! They have helped me through the hardest time of my life. This office is so caring and patient. They are also very quick to respond and get you the documentation you ask for. I have been coming here with and without my children.I recommend this office to everyone.

Jenny is the best!! So is everyone in her office. She is kind, patient, intelligent, compassionate and very caring for all her patients and calls to follow up when needed. She has helped me so much with mental health med management, routine check ups, common colds, referrals to specialists when needed, and weight loss. I rave about her so much I think my mom is going to switch to her for primary care.

They offer a free vitamin B shot for a five star rating. The first visit I felt completely dismissed when I told her my symptoms and how I felt. She said my labs showed my testerone was depleted and then in the next breath said it was could all be in my head. Yes...she said that. She also asked me if I knew I was pre diabetic. Nope. She scheduled me for a follow up. I left feeling defeated. I stupidity went back for a follow up. I decided to give it one more try. All she was interested in was getting a UA which she sent the receptionist in to ask, not even the MA. I see another doctor and am under care. I have NEVER had another doctor ask me that! She did not care to follow up with why she had me come back for, didnt even discuss the pre diabetic issue. Worst experience EVER!! She does not listen to her patients and lets her preconceived notions interfere with even beginning to care for or listen to her patients. Will sadly have to go through trying to find another provider like I knew I should have done after the first visit.

Dr. McKay is very kind and compassionate. I had a lot to discuss with her and not only did she 100% listen to everything that I said, but she also started running tests immediately. So far I really, really like her!

I was looking for a family doctor for my parents, who dont understand English, and needed someone patient and understanding. Meeting Jen and Sam, and seeing how they treat my parents, I am very happy with their service. They are caring, and my parents feel comfortable with them. I want the best for my parents, and Im grateful for the excellent care they receive.

Ive been a patient of Jennys for 3 years now, and I love her, and the whole staff!! Very caring, and understanding, and always greeted with a big smile and hello from who ever is at the front desk!! I’m not trying to be a Karen but, I’m just saying when someone calls and asks if you accept their insurance, don’t turn them away and say “call your insurance” just tell them, if you do or you don’t. You have a list I’m sure in front of you. Don’t be rude. There’s plenty of rude people and you don’t need to be one of them.

This was the best experience I have EVER had at a Doctors appointment. Dr.Jenny was top notch, super friendly and made my visit feel like a meeting with a long time friend more then a rigid formal appointment. I felt at ease right away. I have for sure found my newest Primary Care Physician here in Utah.

I started going to Jenny last October. I have had a lot of issues with my anemia. She has put more time and effort into figuring out what is going on than any other doctor has tried. She listens. She cares. And she is the best doctor I have had in my 48 years hands down.

Jenny Mckay is a fabulous primary care provider. She listens, takes her time and makes you feel like a real human being with real problems and doesnt brush you off like a lot of providers do. I had a feeling something was off with my sons health and just based on my description, she took me seriously, had labwork done and we found out he has hyperthyroidism.Cant recommend her enough!

Love love love this place. I have been coming here for about a year for hormone and weight loss help and Jenny has been the best. She’s understanding and personable.

She has a lot of good reviews. Possibly, she was having a bad day? It was a get to know you appointment for a first time patient. She mentioned injectionable weightloss treatment before I could get started and said my insurance wouldnt cover it and it would be 200 a month. I asked an honest, embarrassing question about my body and asked one follow up question. She seemed in a hurry and like she was trying to rush me out of there. No smiles. I had my nexplanon taken out the previous day and asked her to check the steri strips because I didnt think theyd hold. She glanced and said they were fine...... they came off between the office and my car in the parking lot.

My experience of Jenny as a friend, classmate and now as we share some common patients is that she cares and she puts that caring into everything she does.

I worked with Mandy Pattillo on my visit and had a great experience. Unlike a lot of other providers, she actually spent time with me and actually cared. I didn’t feel rushed, and I felt comfortable talking with her. She was very professional, very knowledgeable and addressed my concerns and listened to what I had to say. The front office staff and MA’s were all also very kind as well. I’d definitely recommend becoming a patient if you’re needing a primary care provider, it just seems like really good people work here.

Sam was great at listening and giving advice on a new medication to help me with weight loss. Approved for a medical marijuana card no problem.

I went in for back pain and my wife went in for general checkup. Very condescending and unhelpful. Doesnt seem to listen at all when you talk. Doesnt ask follow up questions. Doesnt seem to care.

Theyre really great and have worked with me to find the right solution for my issues!

Jenny not only helped me address my needs for the day’s visit, but helped me get onto a path for some additional care that I was having trouble receiving. The staff is positive and efficient, and I’m having other family members call for appointments to see her as their family practitioner, as they haven’t had a regular care provider since they aged out of pediatrics a handful of years ago.

Absolutely love the staff, Jenny is amazing. She actually takes time and listens. I have been to many different care facilities over the past 25 years into my Adult life and by far she has been the best. She listened to what was going on, sent referrals where I needed to be seen next and always calls with follow up and check in and make sure I am ok.I have referred easily 15-20 people to McKay Family practice if not more. No one has ever called with disappointment.But I do heat often, how great she is and they are glad they were able use her.Very professional and is really their for the patient.

Jenny is nice. But you should know about their policies. I work in an industry that I can get called into work at any time. I called the DAY BEFORE to reschedule because of work, I did not cancel and they informed me it was $25 to reschedule. I am 50, I have NEVER EVER had to pay for the day before to reschedule. If you need flexibility dont go here.

McKay has a great reputation and female doctors to help with ailments that other doctors can’t diagnose.

Best PCP doctor in the SLC Valley hands down! She is caring, passionate and you can tell that Dr. McKay really cares about her patients and truly just wants to help. I have had such a bad experience with healthcare in Utah recently my family and I were talking about moving to another state - but I think Dr. McKay was that missing piece and so now we do not have to uproot our family. She has great communication skills and has made mee feel extremely comfortable without making me feel guilty. She is very thorough in her examination and I trust what she says. If I need to get with a specialist or fill a prescription etc., it always happens in a very timely manner. Everything Jenny does is professional and efficient and I would recommend her to anyone.

I had my first appointment today at McKay Family Practice. I have several different health related things that I wanted to get a second opinion on that Ive had ongoing in one way or another - some of them for years. I had my medical history sent to Doctor Mckay a few days ago for her to review prior to my visit. I liked all of the questions she asked and the time she took to try to understand everything. She offered many ideas of things for me to try that havent been suggested to me before and things that I hadnt thought of. I was very happy with my first experience at the clinic and plan to follow up again when my test results come in. Based on my initial experience I will likely be changing my primary care to Mckay Family Practice. Were off to a great start!

Ive been going through alot lets just say to save time, but Ive never had a doctor like Dr McKay!! Someone that doesnt care about all the extra, just wants to HELP AND GET YOU BETTER OR ON THE RIGHT TRACK.. I truly love! Having Dr McKay to have in my corner to help me get through what I need!

I got sober from opiates 2 1/2 years ago and then COVID hit. I work full time and honestly try to better my life but I stuggle A LOT. I missed 2 appts with them and apologized profusely describing what I deal with.The only response I got from them was “At this point you owe us $50 in late appt fees”🤯 wait… I never saw anything on the website about that and I never signed anything.They claim to work with addicts and traumatized people but I from my experience they just want $ at the end of the day! Besides, I waited a month for an appointment anyways when I could have gone elsewhere. I only called them because someone on FB.Rudeness and disrespect isn’t they way to help us!

Coming from medical background as a nurse, this place is not safe. I walked in and the place smelled like cigarettes, the room I was in had stained carpet and paint riped off the walls. I had to get my blood drawn. I asked the MA how long shed been working there and she said she had 20 years of experience and not to worry. The MA(medical assistant) wore gloves that were way too small which obviously made it difficlt for her to put them on.. causing her to contaminate her gloves with her hand. She then missed my vein and didnt cover the puncture site before she proceeded to poke my other vein and missed again. So i was bleeding from both arms as she struggled to get a bandaid with her contaiminated gloves. She only covered one puncture site with acbandaid. The MA had to get the nurse practioner to poke my vein, she did everything correclty except she didnt push the button to retract the needle at the end, she just yanked the needle out of my arm which was super painful and left me with a huge bruise. Leaving both puncture sites open to air and contaminating the gloves could cause bacteria to go directly into my vein causing an infection. Thats why there are strict precautions healthcare workers are taught to take to avoid these situations. I never right bad reviews but this had me frusterated, I will never be coming back here again.

Probably the best Doctor/APRN in the valley. Dr. McKay is compassionate, caring, listens, and never makes you feel unheard or misunderstood!I highly recommend her to anyone who wants high quality care!
